Being a guest speaker is one of the most direct ways to connect with students and help them discover their passions and career paths.
Speaking at the Fall Leadership Conference
Business and community leaders are vital to bringing the real world to DECA students. Speaking opportunities are available at our Fall Leadership Conference in Fall where students, advisors, and chaperones from all across Washington State will gather to kick off their DECA year. We look for guest speakers to present breakout workshops on their career path, what it means to work in their industry, how to get ahead, networking tips, and other relevant topics.

Visit a high school classroom and serve as a guest speaker. DECA advisors/marketing educators are always interested in hosting guest speakers who will inspire students by sharing their career experiences and business expertise.
