The Member of the Year will be recognized at the State Career Development Conference. Nomination forms need to be submitted to Hoan Do, Washington DECA Leadership Development Coordinator by Friday, January 27, 2012.

Meet Breanne Short of Kamiakin High School

 

Breanne not only is at all DECA functions, she is always the first to arrive and last to leave. She makes sure that everything is organized and that she represents the Kamiakin’s Chapter positively. Among some of the activities she has participated in are: the local leadership conference (3 years), Washington Fall Leadership Conference, State Career Development Conference (2 years), she coordinated this year’s DECA week, helped with many fundraisers and has excelled as Kamiakin High School’s DECA president. Not only is she involved in DECA, she also is a member of the National Honor Society, and coaches basketball at her church.
